Where to place the ice bath

Steps should be taken to avoid the bath freezing in the winter.

Health & Safety
The selection of UV or Ozone sanitisation will reduce the requirement for chemicals. If chlorine is used we recommend 1ppm as per the test strip. Â Empty the bath before the water deteriorates, ideally every 2 to 4 weeks depending on usage and user hygiene.
Be aware of contraindications before using ice baths. Seek medical advice if you have any doubt or suffer from cardiac conditions for example.

Water and drain
The ice bath can be emptied via gravity to floor level a drain in the proximity of the bath. If you don’t have a floor level drain you may have to use a submersible pump to empty the spa. We can advise you on this if you are unsure.
